The George Hotel

Samphire Seafood Restaurant

Loch Fyne Oyster Bar

Scallops with greens and purée, at The George, Inveraray.

The George has been a recognisable venue in Inveraray for many years with an excellent reputation. With original flagstone floors and four open fires, The George has a true old-world feel. A lively spot with a wide selection of real ales, over 100 malt whiskies, and an extensive wine list, it definitely deserves its feature in the good pub guide and the good beer guide.

The menu features the very best, well hung West Highland beef and lamb, seafood from the local fishing port of Tarbert and famous Loch Fyne salmon, which are all used imaginatively to produce well cooked meals at fair and reasonable prices.

Food is served all day from 12:00-21:00.
